Silk tree ‘Rosea’

Albizia julibrissin ‘Rosea’ grows best in sunny, warm locations sheltered from the wind. It likes space and looks good as a specimen plant.

Planting is recommended in spring, once the risk of frost has passed. It can also be planted in autumn, but only in the warmer regions of the country.

It prefers fertile, well-drained, and moderately moist soils. It does not tolerate heavy, waterlogged soils.

In its youth, it requires winter protection — e.g., with garden fleece and a mound of bark. Older specimens are more resilient, but it is advisable to protect the roots from frost.
