Musa ‘Florida’ is a showy tropical plant that impresses with its lush, broad leaves and intensely colored fruits. The variety is distinguished by a distinct variegation: large, oblong leaves form a contrasting combination of bright green and white spots, making the plant look exceptionally decorative.
The plant does well in warm climates and grows to about three meters tall. It grows best in tropical and subtropical conditions, in a permeable substrate and in a position with full sun. It tolerates high humidity well and needs regular watering to maintain its rapid growth rate.

Musa ‘Florida’ grows best in full sun, in a warm and sheltered place from the wind. Leaf variegation is more intense with plenty of light.
It is best planted in late spring, when the risk of frost has passed. The soil should already be well warmed up so that the plant will quickly start growing.
It prefers fertile, permeable and constantly slightly moist soil. It responds well to a substrate enriched with compost or organic matter.
When growing in a pot, it is best to move it to a bright, cool room and limit watering.
